APC Stakeholders Endorse Kigbu for Deputy Governorship

Stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa South have unanimously endorsed Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu as their preferred candidate for the deputy governorship position ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This decision was reached during a meeting convened by Ayuba Umbugadu in Lafia, where they discussed the political landscape and the need for inclusivity and grassroots acceptance. The stakeholders emphasized that Kigbu's candidacy would strengthen the party's chances in the upcoming elections, particularly in light of Senator Ahm Aliyu Wadada's emergence as the governorship candidate from Nasarawa West.

The communique from the meeting highlighted Kigbu's political experience and broad appeal across various ethnic and religious groups. The stakeholders also expressed their support for Governor Abdullahi Sule's leadership and commitment to infrastructural development and peace in Nasarawa State.
