Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has chosen to forego a grand birthday celebration, announcing that he will mark the occasion quietly without the usual fanfare of drums and trumpets. The decision was made public in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin.

Governor Abdulrazaq, who assumed office in 2019, emphasized that he does not authorize any form of celebration for his birthday. This move aligns with his preference for a modest approach to personal events, reflecting a focus on governance over extravagant festivities.
