Alia Declares No Individual Can Decide Benue Elections

Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, asserted that no individual has the power to dictate the electoral future of the state's residents as the 2027 governorship elections approach. This statement was made in response to remarks by Senator Titu Zam, who suggested that the people of Benue should follow the guidance of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Georg Akum, regarding the outcome of the elections.
