Saraki Urges Unity in Kwara PDP Ahead of Elections

Former Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki hosted Senator Saliu Mustapha, who recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Dr. Baba Giya Kolo, the PDP Kwara North Senatorial candidate, at his residence in Ilorin. Saraki praised their commitment to the PDP as a courageous step towards rebuilding Kwara State.

He urged PDP members to embrace unity, stating, “There is no more G1 or G2; today, we belong to one big family.” Saraki emphasized the importance of focusing on the 2027 elections and defeating the APC, led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. He also highlighted the need for power-sharing and inclusive governance.

Senator Mustapha expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the PDP family and reiterated his commitment to working towards ending what he termed “the dictatorship of a monster who believes Kwara is his personal property estate.”.
