Kwara PDP Stakeholders Commended for Unity Ahead of 2027

The New Dawn Network commended several stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State for prioritizing party unity over personal ambitions in preparation for the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued on Sunday by Secretary-General Funsho Amodu, the group praised former Senate President Bukola Saraki for his leadership in fostering stability within the party.

Other notable figures recognized for their political maturity included Omar Bolaji Gambari, Prof. Ali Ahmed, Prof. Muritala Awodun, Dr. Audu, Hon. Abdullahi Olayinka Amule, and Hon. Mashood Mustapha. The group congratulated Senator Saliu Mustapha, Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya, and Hon. Saheed Popoola on their emergence as senatorial candidates across the three senatorial districts of Kwara State, describing this as a testament to the party's strength.

The New Dawn Network also called on residents to support Engr. Sulaiman Bolakale Kawu Agaka and Rev. COS Fawenu, emphasizing their potential to lead the state towards development and urging unity and participation in the upcoming elections.
