Bauchi Police Declares No Safe Haven for Bandits

The Bauchi State Police Command, represented by Police Public Relations Officer Nafiu Habib, held a press conference on Thursday to address public concerns regarding recent security incidents in Alkaleri Local Government Area, particularly in communities such as Gwana, Digar, and Kafin Duguri. The command, led by Commissioner of Police Sani Omolori Aliyu, reaffirmed its commitment to flushing out criminal elements and ensuring that there is no safe haven for bandits and kidnappers in the area.

A massive deployment of joint security personnel, including police, military, Department of State Services (DSS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has been initiated to suppress these criminal activities. Despite ongoing security challenges due to the infiltration of criminals from neighboring states, the command has strengthened patrols and operational strategies to enhance security and restore stability.

The police urged residents of Mansur town to remain calm, assuring them that the security situation is steadily improving and that recent incidents in neighboring areas do not pose a direct threat to them.
