Former NHIS Boss Critiques EFCC's Arrest Patterns

Yusuf Usman, the former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), expressed his frustration in a recent interview regarding the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He accused the EFCC of engaging in corrupt practices and selectively enforcing the law based on ethnic backgrounds.

Usman highlighted that no Yoruba man has been arrested by the EFCC, suggesting that the agency's actions are influenced by geographical considerations. He referenced the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and noted that the perception of bias in enforcement is prevalent across different regions of Nigeria.
