APC Benue Denies Zoning Directive Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has issued a statement clarifying that no directive has been given to commence zoning arrangements ahead of the 2027 general elections. The statement, released by the state public secretary Benedict Yaw, urged stakeholders to suspend any zoning-related activities in the local government areas until an official position is communicated from the state secretariat.

The APC highlighted the importance of political engagement across the 23 local government areas, involving proper consultations with recognized leaders, including local government party chairmen and the state working committee. The party firmly stated that any ongoing zoning exercise is unauthorized and does not reflect the party's official stance.
