ADC Spokesperson Denies Court Battle, Slams Senate Leadership

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) spokesperson, Abdullahi, clarified that no court case is pending against the party. This statement came after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recognized the leadership of the ADC under former Senate President David Mark and former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola.

Abdullahi, in an interview with Channels Television, criticized the Senate leadership for not allowing the suspended Kogi Central lawmaker to resume duties. The ADC accused the Senate of defying legal precedents and democratic values.

The party also warned against suppressing opposition voices, particularly singling out Senator Natasha for harsh treatment, which could hinder women's political participation.
