NPA Wins Outstanding Agency of the Year Award

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) was honored with the Outstanding Agency of the Year award by Champions Newspaper. Ikechukwu Onyemekara, the author and spokesman for the NPA, emphasized that the award acknowledges the vigorous leadership and the implementation of smart initiatives that align with the NPA's vision.

The NPA's achievements highlighted include the successful delivery of major projects scheduled for 2025, such as the $1 billion reconstruction of the Tin Can Island Port Complex and the rehabilitation of the Koko Port, as well as the development of a new deep seaport that promotes eco-friendly operations. The award was presented at a conference, which appreciated the NPA's pivotal role in leading trade facilitation platforms that drive Nigeria's economic prosperity, leveraging the country's maritime endowments.
