CSP Anietie Iniedu Appointed New Nigeria Police Spokesperson

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the appointment of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu as the new Force spokesperson. This appointment, approved by Inspector General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu, takes effect immediately.

CSP Iniedu, who hails from Etinan Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Chemistry from the University of Uyo. He has undergone several professional trainings in investigative interviewing, crime scene management, and human rights-based policing strategies.

Prior to this role, he served as the head of the Complaint Response Unit at the Force Headquarters in Abuja and has held various positions including operational officer in Yobe State and area crime officer in Abia State. The Inspector General expressed confidence in CSP Iniedu's ability to lead the Force's public relations department, emphasizing that his professional background will enhance the Force's strategic communication efforts and strengthen public engagement.
