Nasarawa United Signs 17 Players for New Season

Nasarawa United has significantly strengthened its squad by signing 17 new players ahead of the new season, as reported by DAILY POST. The new signings include one goalkeeper, four defenders, six midfielders, and six strikers.

Notable recruits are Cletus Anthony from Bendel Insurance, Sunday Dapma from Barau FC, and Ahmed Family from Niger Tornadoes, among others. The midfield additions feature Uzochukwu Ozorji from GBS Academy and Muhammad Umar ‘Sugar’ from Barau FC, while the striking options include Austine Onyemaechi from Shooting Stars and Sunday Aluko from Basira FC.

Additionally, two youngsters, Adamu Mohammed Amawun and Sanni Hassan Liman, have been promoted to the senior team. The club aims to enhance its chances of securing a continental ticket this season.

Nasarawa United's first match is against Barau FC, scheduled for today at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
