Nasarawa United has been fined 1 million Naira for failing to provide adequate security during their Matchday 33 clash against Kun Khalifat FC, which allowed unauthorized individuals into restricted areas. Additionally, the club faces another 1 million Naira fine for unsporting behavior and improper conduct by supporters, who harassed match officials and held them hostage for 20 minutes. As part of the sanctions, Nasarawa United will play their next two home matches behind closed doors. The club has 48 hours to appeal the sanctions. Meanwhile, Kun Khalifat FC's head coach, Ameh Joseph, expressed confidence ahead of their Matchday 34 match against Warri Wolves at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri. In a related note, Bendel Insurance has cautioned their head coach, Kennedi Boboye, regarding misconduct during their Matchday 32 fixture against Plateau United, and the club has apologized to the Nigeria Refere Association for the incident.
