Yusuf Optimistic After Shooting Stars' Victory Over Inter Lagos

Salisu Yusuf, the technical adviser for Shooting Stars, is optimistic about his team's future performance after they secured a 2-1 victory against Inter Lagos on Friday at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan. The match commenced with Lucky Emmanuel scoring the opening goal for Shooting Stars in the 14th minute.

However, Adigun Damilare equalized for Inter Lagos just nine minutes later. The decisive goal came from Sodiq Ibrahim, who converted a penalty during first-half stoppage time.

Additionally, substitute Mustapha Adams had an opportunity to extend the lead but missed a penalty late in the game. Following the match, Yusuf stated that he believes the team will improve as they play more matches together, emphasizing that they have only been together for a short time and that with more time, their performance will enhance significantly.
