Nigerian Sports Commission Partners to Upgrade Shooting Range in Abuja Stadium

The Nigerian Sports Commission (NSC) collaborates with DICON GRAI Insignia Nigeria Limited to upgrade the shooting range managed by the Nigeria Shooting Federation (NSF) at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. The partnership, as announced by Patricia Nnandi, the NSC Director of Press, includes providing training for athletes to improve their performance to meet global standards.

Dr. Moham Rabiu, representing the NSC, highlighted the importance of transforming the facility to international standards to boost the sports sector's development.

Gen. Lonsdal Oladeji Adeoye, a former NSF President, commended the initiative towards economic growth through private sector partnerships.

Bem Ibrahim Garba, the Chief Executive Officer of DICON GRAI Insignia, emphasized the significance of upgrading the shooting range to elevate Nigeria's position in the international sports arena. The project aims to attract international events and enhance the skills of athletes, including military and law enforcement personnel, ensuring Nigeria's competitiveness globally.
