NSCDC Arrests Two Suspects for Rape in Ondo State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Ondo State Command, led by Oluyemi Ibiloy, arrested two suspects involved in separate rape cases in Akur, Ondo State. The first suspect, Emeka Chidi Innoc, a 22-year-old farmer, is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the Igbatoro area on March 3, 2026.

He evaded arrest until his capture. The second suspect, Idanr Ayodel John, a 38-year-old tiler, allegedly committed the crime against a 15-year-old minor on April 13, 2006, and was arrested on April 14, 2006.

Both suspects have made confession statements and will be charged in court. The NSCDC emphasized the need for proper profiling of artisans and urged parents to be vigilant regarding their children's safety.
