NSCDC Arrests Kidnap Syndicate on Zaria-Kano Highway, Nabs Vandals in Kwara

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended a kidnap syndicate on the Zaria-Kano Highway and arrested five suspected vandals in Kwara. The syndicate specialized in kidnapping, extortion, and theft.

The NSCDC Kwara State Command captured the suspects involved in vandalizing and stealing streetlight cables in Ilorin. The arrests were made following a series of criminal activities, including a dangerous encounter where a victim was kidnapped and extorted valuables.

The suspects have been linked to heinous crimes, with recovered exhibits including stolen items and ATM cards. Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will face court proceedings.
