NSCDC's Audi Reiterates Zero Tolerance for Corruption

On Tuesday in Abuja, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the Commandant General (CG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), reaffirmed the agency's commitment to zero tolerance for corruption.

During the induction of 100 officers into the Anti-Fraud Unit, Audi urged personnel to uphold integrity in their duties to fulfill the agency's mandate of protecting lives and property, maintaining public order, and promoting community safety. He stated that fraud and corruption threaten the agency's operations and public trust.

Commandant of Corps Emeribe Chinyere Victory, PhD, head of the Anti-Fraud Unit, expressed the unit's dedication to integrity and accountability since its establishment in 2007. The event also featured the launch of two books authored by Dr.

Emeribe and included goodwill messages from key security stakeholders, including Hajiya Hafsat Abubakar Bakori, CEO of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, and representatives from the National Intelligence Agency and the Inspector General of Police.
