NSCDC CG Audi Mourns NUJ's Former Chairman Osadebamwen

Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), extended his condolences to the Federal Capital Territory Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) following the death of its immediate past Chairman, Comrade Patrick Osadebamwen. Audi described Osadebamwen as a committed professional who significantly contributed to journalism and national development.

He offered heartfelt condolences on behalf of the NSCDC officers and urged the deceased's family and colleagues to find solace in God. In a show of solidarity, Assistant Commandant of Corps Babawale Afolabi signed the condolence register at the NUJ Secretariat in Utako.

Additionally, Audi launched a two-day capacity-building workshop for the NSCDC Female Special Force in Abuja, emphasizing the importance of women's involvement in security and aligning with UN Security Council Resolution 1325. The workshop aims to enhance operational efficiency and intelligence-driven policing.
