NSCDC Launches Training for Digital Transformation

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has intensified its digital transformation efforts by launching a strategic capacity-building program aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and enhancing research capabilities. This initiative was announced during a two-day training session in Abuja, where Prof. Ahm Audi, the Commandant General, emphasized the NSCDC's unique position within Nigeria's security architecture.

The program is designed to equip officers with analytical thinking and research-driven technological solutions to tackle modern security challenges, which have become increasingly complex under President Bola Tinubu's administration. Commandant General Audi urged participants to ensure that knowledge acquired during the training translates into measurable improvements across the command format nationwide.

Peter Okloho, in charge of planning research statistics, reminded participants of the federal government's evaluation of the corps' effectiveness in delivering its statutory mandate. The training included the induction of new officers into the critical thinking research and innovation desk.
