NSCDC Enhances Operational Capacity with New Facilities

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has expanded its operational capacity in Bayelsa State by commissioning new facilities at the command headquarters in Yenagoa. The project, inaugurated on Saturday, includes a newly constructed quarter guard and an office mess, aimed at improving personnel welfare and enhancing service delivery.

NSCDC State Commandant, Mr. Matthew Palmer, described the initiative as a strategic investment designed to improve operational efficiency, promote discipline, and raise morale among officers.

He emphasized that the quarter guard symbolizes the command's readiness and discipline. The foundation for the office mess was also laid during the event, which is intended to foster professional interaction and camaraderie among officers.

The project received support from the leadership of the NSCDC, including General Abubakar Audi and the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo.

The initiative reflects the command's vision to enhance operational efficiency and boost morale, ultimately creating a conducive work environment for personnel.
