NSITF CEO Mourns Daily Independent's Sylvest Enoghase

Barrister Oluwaseun Faleye, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), expressed profound sorrow regarding the passing of Mr. Sylvest Enoghase, the Labour Editor and Business Editor at Daily Independent Newspaper.

In a condolence message, Faleye described Enoghase as an exceptional journalist and a steadfast ally of the Nigerian labor movement. He noted that Enoghase's distinguished career, which spanned two decades, was marked by his courageous and dedicated reporting on labor issues.

Faleye emphasized Enoghase's significant contributions to advancing workers' rights and promoting safe, healthy workplaces, earning him widespread respect among colleagues and labor leaders. Furthermore, Faleye recalled Enoghase's role as a former chairman of the Labour Writers Association of Nigeria, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening labor journalism.

Enoghase recently returned from covering the 114th International Labour Conference in Geneva, underscoring his passion for labor reporting until his final moments. Faleye extended condolences to Enoghase's immediate family and the management staff of Daily Independent Newspaper.
