Dr. Abimbola Oyetund Wins Broadcast Excellence Award

Dr. Abimbola Oyetund has made history as the first female Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the union's 70-year history.

She received the Broadcast Excellence Award during the International Women's Day 2026 celebrations, acknowledging her leadership and service in journalism. Expressing profound gratitude, Dr.

With a career spanning two decades at Radio Nigeria, she has utilized her platform to advocate for justice and amplify the voices of the voiceless.
