NNPP Predicts Crisis in APC Ahead of Upcoming Congresses

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), represented by its National Public Secretary Oladipo Johnson, has warned of an impending implosion within the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to numerous competing interests. The NNPP suggests that these internal conflicts could trigger a crisis during the forthcoming ward congresses scheduled for February 18 and the national convention set for March 27-28.

Johnson emphasized that the APC's management of these competing interests poses serious challenges, especially as the party has fewer members and interests to manage. In response, APC's Director of Publicity Bala Ibrahim dismissed these concerns, assuring members of a transparent and credible electoral process that reflects internal democracy.

He expressed confidence that the upcoming exercises would strengthen party unity and showcase the beauty of democracy, ensuring that outcomes are accepted by stakeholders.
