Troost-Ekong Backs Nwabali to Find New Club Soon

William Troost-Ekong, the captain of the Super Eagles, stated that goalkeeper Stanlei Nwabali is "too good to be clubless" as Nwabali seeks a new club following the termination of his contract with South African side Chippa United in February. Nwabali's contract ended four months early, limiting his options to find a new team due to the timing of his departure outside the transfer window.
