Nwabali Leads Chippa United to Pre-Season Tournament Win

Stanley Nwabali, a Super Eagles goalkeeper, made a successful return to Chippa United, contributing significantly to the club's triumph in the Eastern Cape pre-season tournament. Chippa United secured a 1-0 victory over Ravens FC in the semi-final.

In the final, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time against Highbury FC, Chippa United won 4-2 on penalties. Nwabali recently rejoined Chippa United after terminating his contract five months prior.

His return is anticipated to help him reclaim the number one goalkeeping position at the club as they prepare for the 2026/27 season.
