NYA Inaugurates 121 North Central Coordinators in Benue

On April 14, 2026, the National Youth Alliance (NYA) inaugurated 121 coordinators for the North Central zone during a seminar in Makurdi, Benue State. The Secretary to the Benue State Government, Deborah Aber, praised the NYA's initiative and highlighted the administration's commitment to youth-friendly policies under Governor Hyacinth Alia.

NYA President Aliyu Bin Abba addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of rebuilding Nigeria and promoting democratic values. He noted that the alliance is non-partisan and aims to hold leaders accountable.

Special guest Professor Patrick Ukas challenged the youth to pursue leadership actively and resist manipulation by self-serving politicians. Cynthia Ogb, an NYA director, described the inauguration as a critical moment for unity among young people, especially during Nigeria's current economic and security challenges.
