Nyanya Residents Receive Free Health Screenings in Abuja

Nyanya residents in Abuja benefited from free health screenings organized by the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) in collaboration with Megalif Science Limited at Nyanya General Hospital. The event, part of activities to mark World Diabetes Day 2025, aimed to raise awareness about diabetes across all life stages.

Dr. Abubakar Danraka highlighted the importance of regular health checks to detect silent diseases like diabetes early.

Dr. Kayode Okeji emphasized the need for adopting healthy lifestyle habits to reduce the risk of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.
