NYSC Discharges 1,149 Corps Members in Anambra State

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharged 1,149 corps members in Anambra State, concluding the service year for the 2025 Batch, Stream 1. The issuance of certificates took place on Tuesday at the Awka South Local Government Area Secretariat, monitored by Mr.

Paulin Ojisua, the state coordinator of NYSC. This batch comprised 457 male and 692 female corps members.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of their mandatory one-year national service, which is crucial for community development in sectors such as education and healthcare. Mr.

Ojisua commended the corps members for their dedication, discipline, and resilience throughout the service year, urging them to carry forward the values of patriotism, unity, and selfless service as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
