NYSC Member Killed in Trailer Accident in Oyo State

A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps was killed on Monday when a trailer collided with a motorcycle in the Agodi Gardens area of Ibadan North Local Government Area, Oyo State. The identity of the corps member has not yet been confirmed.

Eyewitnesses reported that the truck driver had been involved in several collisions around the Sango area before reaching Agodi Gardens. The trailer struck the motorcycle carrying the corps member, resulting in the immediate death of the victim.

Multiple other individuals sustained injuries in the incident. It was noted that the driver allegedly attempted to flee after the earlier collisions.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived at the scene, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. As of the time of reporting, there was no official confirmation regarding the arrest of the truck driver.
