In an official statement, the NYSC debunked allegations against Ushie as unfounded and false, explaining that her certificate was withheld due to various infractions.

Ushie was among 131 corps members whose certificates were withheld, with her service year extended by two months for failing to attend the April 2025 biometric clearance exercise. The NYSC emphasized that the decision was taken in line with its regulations and procedures.
