Kwankwaso Yet to Join ADC Despite Alliance Talks

Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has not formally joined the African Democrat Congress (ADC) despite ongoing discussions for a potential alliance ahead of the 2023 elections. The ADC's National Public Secretary, Abdullahi Abdullahi, welcomed talks with Kwankwaso but clarified that no formal alliance has been established yet.

Kwankwaso is considered a strong political leader, and discussions are ongoing to explore the possibility of a joint presidential ticket. Legal advisors from the New Nigeria People's Party and the Kwankwasiyya Movement are also involved in the discussions.
