Obi Urges NDC Aspirants to Accept Primary Results

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, appealed to aspirants of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) to accept the results of the recently concluded primary elections during the party's second national executive committee meeting in Abuja. He stressed that acceptance of the outcomes in good faith is crucial for the party's future electoral success and to strengthen its structure.

Obi acknowledged the challenges faced during the primary process, which was conducted within a short timeframe, and expressed gratitude to members for their participation. He emphasized the need for the party to focus on building a credible political platform capable of addressing Nigeria's pressing challenges, such as insecurity and poor infrastructure.

Additionally, Obi announced plans for a nationwide engagement tour to enhance grassroots mobilization and political education. NDC's national chairman, Mose Cleopa, and former Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, also spoke on the party's growth and the importance of unity among members.
