Obidient Movement Confirms Yunusa Tanko's Position

The Obidient Movement has officially denied reports claiming that its National Coordinator, Dr Yunusa Tanko, was removed from his position by its presidential leader, Peter Obi. The movement described these allegations as fabricated and misleading, attributing the false claims to an individual named Francis Nnoli.

In a statement signed by Onyeka Dike on behalf of the Media and Communications Directorate Team, the movement clarified that Obi neither removed Tanko nor authorized anyone to issue such statements. The Obidient Movement urged the public, supporters, and media to disregard the false report, emphasizing that official communications are only released through authorized channels.

The statement also highlighted that some individuals are attempting to exploit the movement's popularity by spreading unauthorized information for personal gain as elections approach. The movement reaffirmed that Dr Yunusa Tanko remains its recognized National Coordinator and called for verification of political information through official channels, warning against the dangers of misinformation.
