Dr. Peter Agada announced his resignation as the finance director of the Obidient Movement during a press conference in Abuja, citing a lack of structural coordination within the organization.

He stated that he sent his resignation letter three days prior and emphasized that his decision was not made out of grudges. Agada expressed concerns about the movement's organizational depth and sustainability, indicating that it did not align with his professional standards developed over 30 years.

Despite his exit, he did not clarify whether he would continue to support Peter Obi or align with other political actors ahead of the 2027 elections. Dr.
