Apostle Obii Pax Harry Launches Nehemiah Project for Creatives

Apostle Obii Pax Harry is spearheading the Nehemiah Project, a strategic mentoring initiative designed to prepare young Nigerian creatives, particularly those aged 18 to 35 in Nollywood and the broader entertainment ecosystem. This initiative aims to cultivate not just talent but also professionalism and a strong cultural narrative.

The project emerged from a gathering in Lagos on July 19, where over 50 Nollywood actors, filmmakers, and industry leaders discussed Nigeria's narrative crisis. Participants expressed a need for guidance and support to build sustainable careers while emphasizing the importance of telling authentic stories that reflect Africa's values and identity.

The Nehemiah Project seeks to empower young Africans to take responsibility for their narratives, moving beyond external perceptions dominated by negative stereotypes. The initiative is rooted in the belief that nations are shaped by the stories they tell about themselves, and it aims to transform Nigeria's representation in global media.
