Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Warns Against Political Infiltration

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement, a political pressure group supporting former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and ex-Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has issued a warning against infiltration by rival political interests as the 2027 elections approach. During a press conference in Abuja, Deputy Director Auwal Muhammad expressed concerns over attempts by various groups to establish parallel structures within the movement, which could dilute its effectiveness.

He emphasized the importance of a coordinated central leadership to safeguard the movement's integrity and prevent confusion among supporters. The movement has already established structures across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, appointing state and zonal coordinators to mobilize support for a potential joint presidential ticket.

Muhammad urged members to remain vigilant and united to protect the movement from political mercenaries and disruptors aiming to undermine its goals.
