Kogi Governor Ododo Launches HOPE Programme for Health

On Friday, Kogi State Governor Ahm Ododo inaugurated the HOPE programme, designed to enhance governance and health education in the state. The event took place at the Deputy Governor's office in Lokoja, with Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu representing the governor.

The HOPE programme comprises three key components: health, education, and fiscal transparency. Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of selfless service and urged the committee members to ensure that their decisions reflect the interests of the people, particularly vulnerable groups such as children and healthcare workers.

The initiative is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and aims to improve governance, strengthen primary healthcare, and enhance educational outcomes. The steering committee will provide strategic leadership and technical support, ensuring the programme achieves its objectives.

Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration's commitment to creating an enabling environment for the successful implementation of the initiative, which is expected to deliver tangible benefits to the people of Kogi State.
