Kogi Governor Ododo Endorses Youth Security Summit

Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahm Usman Ododo reaffirmed his administration's commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment by endorsing the proposed Kogi Youth Security Summit. During a meeting at the Government House in Lokoja with youth leaders and stakeholders, he described young people as critical partners in strengthening security efforts and sustaining development across the state.

Ododo noted that youth are the backbone of society, possessing the energy, talent, and capacity necessary to shape the future of Kogi State when properly engaged. He emphasized the need for an inclusive approach to governance that places young people at the center of policy implementation and decision-making, contrasting this with past practices where the potential of the youth was largely underutilized.
