Terrorists Attack Civil Defence Post in Niger, Steal Rifle

In Niger State, terrorists attacked a civil defence post, stealing a rifle and prompting officers to run for safety. The stolen rifle belonged to a civil defence officer.

Abubakar Rabiu, a spokesperson for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Niger State, confirmed the incident and mentioned that investigations are ongoing to ascertain the full details. The security breach occurred around 4 am on a Tuesday, with a large number of attackers opening fire.
