Terrorists Attack NSCDC Outpost in Niger State, Nigeria

In Niger State, Nigeria, terrorists launched an attack on an NSCDC outpost in the Wawa area of Borgu Local Government. The NSCDC confirmed the incident, with Mr.

Suberu Siyaka Aniviy detailing the attack to newsmen in Minna. The terrorists, armed with various weapons, forced NSCDC personnel to maneuver and seek cover as they opened fire.

The personnel had to abandon their operational vehicle and move to safety as the attackers shot at the vehicle multiple times, damaging it. The terrorists also looted personal items during the attack.
