Fire Destroys Offices at Kwara Varsity, Important Records Saved

A fire incident occurred at Kwara State University, destroying offices and a biology lab. The blaze affected three offices, with the suspected cause being arson by an unidentified person who set a dry bush on fire.

The fire service spokesperson, Hassan Adekunle, confirmed the incident and stated that the fire was promptly contained. Fortunately, important files were recovered and saved during the operation.

Alabi Muham, the Director of Services, advised the public to avoid indiscriminate bush burning, especially around school premises, to prevent such incidents. The Kwara State Fire Service reiterated its commitment to protecting lives and properties in the state.
