Fire Ravages Offices in Kwara State Building, Kwara State Fire Service Responds Swiftly

A fire incident occurred on Tuesday night in a storey building along Commission Log Government Reserve Area in Ilorin, Kwara State, where five offices were razed. The Kwara State Fire Service, led by Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, promptly responded to the fire at 8:31 p.m. and brought it under control by 8:47 p.m.

Preliminary investigations suggest the fire was caused by an electrical fault near combustible materials. CF Alabi Muham of the Kwara State Fire Service emphasized the need for property owners to adopt strict fire safety measures, including installing fire protection systems like automatic sprinklers.

The service reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and properties in Kwara State through proactive fire safety measures.
