Yinka Quadri Breaks Down at Ogogo's Fidau Prayer

On August 31, Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri delivered a heartfelt tribute during the Fidau prayer for his close friend and colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, held in Ilaro. Quadri, who shared a deep bond with Ogogo, urged mourners to trust in God during this difficult time.

However, his composed speech turned emotional as he struggled to continue, his voice shaking under the weight of grief. Fellow actors quickly surrounded him to offer support, and he was gently ushered off the stage.

This moment was described as one of the most moving of the ceremony, drawing sympathy from all present. The Fidau prayer, a traditional Muslim rite, attracted several prominent figures from Yoruba Nollywood, including Jide Kosoko.
