Yinka Quadri Honors Late Friend Ogogo in Tribute

Veteran actor Yinka Quadri recounted his final moments with the late Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who died on August 23, 2026, after a battle with stage 4 cancer. He was buried on August 24, 2026, in his hometown of Ilaro.

In a tribute shared on Instagram two days after the burial, Quadri reflected on their friendship that spanned over four decades, evolving from a professional relationship into a deep bond. He recalled visiting Ogogo in the hospital, where despite his illness, Ogogo displayed resilience by requesting water and confirming to doctors that he had eaten.

Quadri emphasized that rumors of a falling out between them were unfounded, as they never publicly addressed such claims. He described Ogogo as a brother, confidant, and companion, concluding his tribute with a prayer for Ogogo's soul and for the strength of those he left behind.

Additionally, TAMPAN president Bolaji Amusan urged all state chapters to include a special prayer session for Ogogo in their next meetings.
