Ogun APC Chieftain Sikiru Apena Eyes Assembly Seat

Sikiru Apena, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly representing the Ogun Waterside Local Government in the forthcoming 2027 elections. Apena, who has retired as an Assistant Comptroller of Customs, unveiled his plans during a stakeholder engagement meeting held at the Abigi headquarters of the local government.

He expressed his determination to represent the interests of his constituents, highlighting the need to address developmental challenges in the area. Apena, a philanthropist, emphasized his commitment to good governance and community development, drawing on his wealth of experience in public service and academic qualifications.
