Ogun APC Primary Confirms Solomon Adeola's Dominance

Kayode Oladel, a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, stated that the recent APC primary confirmed the dominance of Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, who emerged as the party's gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections. Oladel noted that the outcome of the primary demonstrated overwhelming support for Adeola across Ogun State, particularly highlighting the voting patterns in Tube Ward, Ipokia Local Government Area, which is Huny's home ward.

He advised Abayomi Huny against participating in the gubernatorial race without first establishing a strong political structure and grassroots support. Oladel asserted that the primary election results reflected the wishes of party members across the three senatorial districts of Ogun State.

He also mentioned that Adeola's victory was a product of years of political engagement and grassroots mobilization. Huny has since challenged the primary election results in a federal high court, alleging fraud and irregularities.
