Ogun Bye-election: Former PDP chair, Ogundele mocks Ladi Adetutu over loss of polling unit

Former Ogun PDP Chairman Sikirulah Ogundele mocked party's 2023 governorship candidate Ladipupo Adetutu over the loss of his polling unit in the recent bye-election. Ogundele, who defected to the ruling APC, celebrated the victory of the APC candidate Adesola Elegbeji at the polling unit in Iperu III, Ikenne Local Government.

The APC received 96 votes, while PDP got 60 votes, ADC 1 vote, LP 0 votes, and SDP 1 vote. Ogundele attributed the electoral defeat to the recent mass movement of credible members to the APC, describing the outcome as a true reflection of the majority electorate's wish.

He expressed confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abiodun, stating that the party would not record losses in future elections due to the trust of the people in the current leadership.
