APC's Adeola Advocates for Issue-Based Campaigns in Ogun

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, called for issue-based campaigns among political candidates during a meeting with the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC). On Monday, he unveiled his nine-pillar agenda titled “ITESIWAJU FOR OGUN STATE,” aimed at sustaining development projects through continuity.

The agenda, which he described as a comprehensive development framework, includes Infrastructure, Tourism and Culture, Economic Empowerment, Security and Welfare, Inclusive Growth and Well-being, Women, Youth and Poverty Eradication, Agriculture and Food Security, Job Creation and Industrialisation, and Urbanisation and Transparency. Adeola emphasized that this agenda was meticulously crafted over three years to address the state's needs.

He cited Lagos State as a model for successful governance continuity, suggesting that Ogun could achieve similar development if successive governments build on existing projects rather than abandon them.
