Ogun State Inducts New Recruits to Enhance Public Service

The Ogun State Government has inducted newly recruited officers into its civil public service as part of efforts to strengthen workforce capacity and enhance service delivery across various ministries, departments, and agencies. The induction ceremony took place at the Oba Complex, State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, and was addressed by Kehind Onasanya, the head of service.

Onasanya emphasized that the recruitment reflects the government's commitment to building a strong and efficient workforce capable of driving its development agenda. He noted the critical role of the workforce in achieving the objectives of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration.

The induction program is designed to integrate new entrants into the service and equip them with the necessary knowledge for effective performance. Lydia Fajounbo, the permanent secretary of the Bureau of Establishment and Training, highlighted the need for the program due to observed gaps in knowledge of core values expected in civil service.

The initiative marks the beginning of the participants' career journey, urging them to build a solid foundation for future growth.
